2. Watch the Twig video (What is an Atom?) below inTeacher Video and summarise the main points about the structure of the atom in your Science book.

If the twig video does not open then open up another tab and go to the SLIK page. Select Twig and search for the video: What is an Atom?

3. Look at the two slides below.

Copy the diagram of a carbon atom using a pencil. Use a ruler to draw the label lines.
Write the notes on slide 2 about the sub-atomic particles into your Science books.

4. You will need your periodic table, 3 coloured pencils, a pen and a ruler. Annotate your periodic table as explained in the screencast I have prepared.

5. Complete the 2 quizzes below.

6. Please have the following ready for your lesson on Wednesday:
